Honestly, my wedding was a fairytale wedding. We chose to do something offseason and found the venue through googling sleigh rides. Once we saw the facility and met with the coordinators we knew that this was the place and we could stop looking.

We loved the rustic nature of the lodge and choose to add a lot of elegance through candles and white undertones. The facility is an amazing backdrop to add your own creative touches too and it isn't your average banquet facility.
There is a beautiful mantle and fireplace inside that we were married in front of, it was very romantic and special.

We chose to include sleigh rides for the guests throughout the event as entertainment and the guests at our wedding loved it! Several exclaimed that it was the best, or one of the best, weddings that they had ever gone to!

I absolutely loved working with the wedding coordinator, Verity. We were all pretty excited before the wedding and a few days prior to THE DAY she emailed me some photos of the finished sleigh with our "Just Married" sign attached. (Which the lodge attached for us BTW... great service) I really feel like the quality of service was top notch and the whole day went wonderfully.

Once we booked with the lodge I gave the coordinator a list of vendors and then that was the last time I spoke with many of them. She coordinated everything on the big day for us!

Also, it is not the responsibility of the lodge to help set up or clean up the next day, however when the setting up and the cleaning up was taking place many offered and did help.

Our wedding was fabulous, we did end up ordering a few more appetizers on the day but I feel as though it was much better than people waiting around for food.

Also, we had our ceremony and reception in the same room. I really can't say enough for how seamlessly the staff at the lodge pulled off the two events without "bothering or moving items" in front of our guests.

I know that typically weddings are in the summer, but if you are thinking of something white, winter white that is, this is your spot.

We want to thank you and the Lodge staff again for making November 5th, 2011 an amazing day for us.  Our ceremony held on the gazebo was picturesque with all the swans swimming below us.  We had a blast at cocktail hour and I hear the appetizers were fantastic (I was a little too busy too eat).  You and the staff at Hidden Valley went above and beyond to add memorable details to our day that our guests will never forget.  Our wedding pictures are even
more beautiful because of the structure and scenery at the The Lodge at Hidden Valley.  Dan and I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work and for putting a frantic bride at ease.  (Dan is especially grateful-happy wife, happy life :-)).   I am only disappointed in one thing when I think back to our Wedding Day, and that is I want to repeat our perfect day over and over.

My husband & I had the pleasure of dining at your lodge today.  It was wonderful!
The food was excellent and the staff most attentive.  It was the first time we have
eaten out on a holiday in our 40 yrs. of marriage.  We certainly will plan to come
again and bring extended family.

Thank you so much for an awesome wedding for our daughter at your place. The place was beautiful, the food was great and the staff was exceptional!! Our guests raved all night about the wedding (especially about the food) and we got so many compliments. We also stayed in their two hotels rooms they offer, that only made the whole wedding all the better!!We would recommend anyone having a wedding or any special event to come to the Hidden Valley Lodge, have your event and stay the night. You will not be disappointed and in the morning you will walk away with a big smile on your face just like we did!

We wish to again express to you our extreme pleasure in every detail of our wedding celebration that you provided. There are not enough words to describe how thrilled we were to hold both the ceremony and the reception at The Lodge. You offered the most spectacular landscapes as well as the most devoted staff that anyone could ever ask for on their special day. We have gotten so many compliments regarding the atmosphere and the attention to detail that everyone on your staff provided. It is a wonderful feeling that the staff took this extra time and effort to make everyone feel so welcomed. It is indeed a family orientated adventure and everyone felt as if they were right at home with your help. Many of the guests expressed the desire to return to The Lodge at Hidden Valley Animal Adventure with their friends and family. As we know we will visit often and will definitely be spreading the word of this Hidden Gem right here in our own backyard. Thank you for helping make this the most memorable day that we could have asked for.

I wanted to be the first to post a testimonal about The Lodge being a wonderful place for a wedding. Not only was getting married outside under the recently finished gazebo perfect but the dinner was amazing. The Boxlers and Steve couldn't have been more accommodating to us, our family and friends.
